Terms & Conditions
Please ensure you double check with customs in your country to ensure it is ok for me to send the items you are ordering, as some countries prohibit me sending fibres, yarn and fabric. Some of the countries that are effected, include France, Germany, Ireland, Italy and New Zealand. It is the buyers responsibility to check and it is at the buyers own risk if they purchase something that is prohibited to be imported into their country, and as such the buyer is liable for any customs costs. If you have any questions in relation to customs and your order, please feel free to contact me and I will help in any way I can.
All shop items and postage are in AUS$.
Due to the recent events world wide, Liz Green Arts is taking all precations as practical and as is required by Australian Government in relation to reducing and preventing the spread of Covid-19. While all precautions are taken up to the point of shipment of your parcel, Liz Green Arts can not guareentee the same precautions are taken on your parcel during transit, and as such you should endeavour to sanitise your parcel when you receive it as a precaution and prevention against transmission.
Items will not be shipped unless full payment has been received. If I have not received payment, or a response to any attempts at contact within 7 days of purchase/reservation/last contact, the item/s will be made available to other customers in order to be fair. The payment options are:
- Paypal (All international orders must be paid using Paypal)
- Credit Card payments can be made through paypal without you needing a paypal account or you can call me to pay with Credit Crad over the phone, please contact me for this option
- Direct Deposit is always perfered and is available for Australian Customers ONLY
- Pick-up orders can be paid in Cash or Credit Card on the day, or prepaid using any one of the methods above.
Refund & Cancellations Policy
Please look closely and take all aspects of the item/s you are purchasing into account. Due to the nature of the products I sell, unfortunately I am not able to accept an item for return, unless it is faulty in some way when you receive it.
If you do have a serious problem with your item/s when you receive them or if they are faulty, you must contact me within 7 days. The item/s will then be determined if it is/they are faulty and if it is/they are to be returned. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs. If the item/s is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. If the item/s are deemed faulty and are requested to be returned and arrive in their original condition, at the discretion of Liz Green Arts, either a replacement will be sent out or the customer will be given a store credit/voucher towards their next purchase.
If you need to cancel an order, you MUST contact me prior to shipping. Once an order is with the courier, the order has been shipped and can therefore no longer be cancelled. If you cancel an order, you will be given a store credit/voucher only, so Please take care when ordering items, as once the order has been paid for, I am unable to issue a refund, unless the order is unable to be filled.
If you change your mind about the items once you have ordered and paid for them, I can swap them for you and/or give you a voucher/store credit towards your next purchase provided you contact me prior to shipping. If you change your mind about a Custom ordered product/s You will be liable for 50% of the cost and/or the cost of the shipping and any deposit made on such items will be forfited.
I will contact you and keep you informed on your orders progress, including any unexpected delays should they occur and send you the tracking details once I have them.
PLEASE NOTE, I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE FOR YOUR ORDER TO GET TO YOU ONCE IT IS WITH THE COURIER. IF YOU REQUIRE YOUR ORDER QUICKLY OR BY A CERTAIN DATE, I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU PAY EXTRA FOR EXPRESS POSTAGE OR CONTACT ME FOR OTHER ARRANGEMENTS.
I offer a capped shipping price, which includes the postage, packaging and handling, for both domestic and international orders, so any extra items in the same order have FREE SHIPPING!
As I live in a rural area, I am unable to post every day of the week and as such, all parcels will be posted within 2-4 business days (unless otherwise stated), once payment has been recieved. Thank you for your understanding in regards to this :-)
- All items are sent via Standard Parcel Post
- There is basic tracking included
- Express post and signature is available on request at an extra cost
- All items are sent via Standard Airmail for overseas
- Tracking is NOW INCLUDED and details will be provided, this number also doubles as the Customs Number
- Cheaper SEAMAIL is available to some countries, please pm me for a cost to your country
- No responsibility will be taken for any Customs or import taxes, these are the responsibility of the buyer

No responsibility will be taken for any item/s lost by Australia Post or any other Courier used.
LOCAL PICK UP
If you live locally in East Gippsland near Bairnsdale / Eagle Point / Paynesville / Lakes Entrance / Swan Reach / Nicholson / Johnsonville (or Sale/Stratford on some Mondays) and would like to pick your item up, please let me know when placing your order so I can let you know when it is ready for Pick Up. For Pick Up orders only, please use the free shipping or “PICK UP” option when placing your order. If you select the "PICK UP" option and then want the item posted, postage will need to be paid seperately for the order prior to the parcel being sent, regardless if the items have been paid for already, and a postage invoice will be sent. The Studio in Eagle Point is open via appointment for visiting and browsing the collections on show and for purchases.
Other Important Information
All consideration has been taken to capture the true likeness and colour of the items in my shop, but please note that colours will vary from screen to screen and from device to device. Colours can also variy between dyelots on comercial products, as well as hand dyed products, so ensure you purchase enough for you project to avoid colour changes. If you require more details or larger quantities, please contact me so I can help in any way I can.
HAND DYED ITEMS:
Hand dyed fibres and yarns by Liz Green Arts are washed several times during the dyeing process, however the first few washs after spinning / felting / knitting / weaving / etc. may release any excess dye that wasn’t washed out during the dyeing process. This is a natural part of the dyeing process. Hand dyeing is a unique art form and while all consideration has been taken to ccapture the true likeness and colour of the item, each dye batch is uniquely different and may include variations or lighter patches in the colours of the fibres and yarns in compairison to the product image.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS - (UNLESS otherwise stated):
When caring for SILKS / YARNS / FIBRES / THREADS / etc and other items purchased from Liz Green Arts, it is VERY important that items made from these SILKS / YARNS / FIBRES / THREADS / etc are hand washed in COLD WATER ONLY and dried flat in the shade. This will help to maintain the appearance of the materials used, as well as the colour and integrity, and prevent unwanted felting and/or shrinkage and/or colour dullness/loss. This care applies to ALL of the fibres, threads, yarns and silks that are available in my shop, and it also applies to ANY HANDMADE ITEM in my shop, unless otherwise stated.
It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that FABRICS purchased from Liz Green Arts are HAND WASHED in TEPID water only. This to help maintain the fabrics colour and integrity, and prevent unwanted shrinkage and/or damage to the fabric’s construction. See individual listings for any extra care advice.

Items and/or supplies purchased from this shop that are washed and/or cared for in ANY manner other than which is outlined above or detailed in the individual listings, may produce unwanted results, and are therefore NOT considered a faulty item or product, and are at the BUYERS OWN RISK.
All items come from a smoke-free, dog-friendly, farm studio environment.
Blended fibres in my shop, including the fibre Batts and Rolags, are all blended on the one drum carder I own. While every effort is made to ensure the carder is cleaned of fibres between each blending, there may be the odd fibre left on the drum from the previous blend.
If you have allergies, please feel free to ask me questions, as I’m more than happy to do a custom blending for you and/or to give you alternative fibre suggestions help make my products enjoyable to all :)
